March looks like it's going to be another cracking month for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Especially for those with a soft spot for Metal Gear Solid.
Following on from last month's pair of complimentary PS Plus corkers -WipEout 2048 and Lumines Electronic Symphony - Sony has decided to makeMetal Gear Solid: HD Collection the next PS Vita freebie for subscribers to its paid PSN service.
If it hasn't blipped on your radar before now, Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection comprises snazzily remastered versions of PS2 classicsMetal Gear Solid 2: Songs of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
The PS Plus curators have also seen fit to offer up Puddle, an ingenious water-based physics-puzzler, as a free gift to all PS Plus members.
Though we found the first hour of Puddle slightly bland, the game does eventually turn into a potent cocktail of thrilling mechanics, cunning puzzles, and creative environments.
