Following a pretty stingy release schedule for the PS Vita at the end of January, February is already looking just that little bit brighter.
We've got great new game, interesting re-releases, and potentially must-buy collections.
All in the same week? On the PlayStation Vita? Lies, I hear you shout! But no, good sirs and maams, this is straight-up truth. It's a good week to own a PS Vita.
Check out what they've got in store for you online.
Full-price releases
Europeans! How about a little classic Alien Breed from 1991? Yes, this top-down alien shooter is now available for PS Vita, and it's pretty lovely - well, it was back then anyway.
If you're interested, it'll set you back £6.49 (or £5.19 if you're a PS Plus user).
Bentley's Hackpack is a stingy little game. It's a collection of minigames, that will all be included in the upcoming Sly Cooper revival.
It costs £1.59 / $2.99, but honestly, if you're planning to pick up Sly Cooper, you might as well just wait it out.
How about the Escape Plan Collection then, huh? We're talking the original puzzler, plus all the DLC packs, for £15.99.
Wake-up Club is now out in Europe. It's a free app that lets you synchronize with fellow Vita people, and then all wake up together. Bizarre.
Oh, and if you're interested, there's now a demo available for upcoming Japanese RPG Ragnarok Odyssey. Play a bit of it before it comes out on February 20. Go on, I dare you!
Meanwhile, Americans get Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time this week for a mere $26.99. It's a revival of the old school platforming Sly Cooper series, and it's getting decent reviews.
We shall, of course, have our own take on the title for you sometime soon, so feel free to wait if you're not fully convinced.
Aaaand finally, if you're interested in getting cheapo games, there's a huge sale on past Vita games at the moment. You should totally jump on that.
PlayStation Plus games and offers
Discounted games, eh? We've got a few of them for you this week, as long as you're a PS Plus subscriber.
For example, the Alien Breed port will cost you £5.19 instead of £6.49. Which is nice.
Americans get discounts too. Big Sky Infinity is 40 percent off at $5.99, while Knytt Underground is also 40 percent off, at $8.99.
PlayStation Mobile releases
You've got another free PS Mobile game this week. Aqua Kitty: Milk Mine Defenderis pretty fab, as noted in our review.
For the free price tag, you really should make sure to grab it within the next week before it gets pricey again.
Other than that, no new PS Mobile releases this week. Booo!
PSP and PSone Classics
This is awkward but, erm, there's no new PSP titles this week either. Sorry!
But there are plenty of discounts, on titles like Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact and Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny.
Because, you know, you might be into those games.
See you again next week!
