Level-5 announces more eShop games from top Japanese developers with the Guild02 collection

Earlier this week, we saw a sale on Level-5's  Guild01 Collection of eShop games and predicted that the Guild02 Collection was on its way to the west.

Now, after today's massive Nintendo Directbroadcast we can confirm that Level-5 is indeed planning a release of the Guild02 Collection for North America and Europe.

Joining Liberation Maiden, Aero Porter, and Crimson Shroud are three new niche games from some of Japan's brightest game developers.

First up is The Starship Damrey from the visual novel pioneers Kazuya Asano and Takemaru Abiko. This minimalist space exploration saga drops players into, well, the starship Damrey and tasks them with figuring out what happened in the ruined ship.

The Starship Damrey offers players little information and no tutorials, so it's up to you to figure out the controls as you piece the story together.

The next Guild02 game is Bugs vs. Tanks! by legendary Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune. In this bizarre action-strategy title, players take control of a World War II tank battalion that's been shrunken down to the size of insects.

Players must customize their tanks by swapping in new parts to do battle with the bugs so they can - hopefully - restore their tanks to their proper proportions.

Finally, the Guild02 Collection rounds out with Millennium Kitchen's Kazu Ayabe'sAttack of the Friday Monsters: A Tokyo Tale.

This action title is set in suburb of Tokyo where characters from 1970s Japanese TV shows like Ultraman come to life every Friday night and do battle.

We don't have a release date for the Guild02 Collection for either North America or Europe, but we're told they're all "coming soon" to the Nintendo eShop.

We'll post more information on these three quirky titles as soon as we have it.
