If you own a Vita and are in the mood for a steampunk point-and-click puzzler without a word of dialog, then we have some good news for you.

The Gold Award-winning Machinarium will come to the PlayStation Network on March 26 in North America according to a post onthe PlayStation Blog.

We suspected that this was coming for some time now, so it's nice to see the rumoursfinally pan out.

What's more, developer Amanita Design indicated that the Vita version will be similar to the PlayStation 3 version, but will feature a few notable enhancements specifically tailored to the Vita.

Stating that Vita version of Machinarium will "make no compromises", Amanita announced that it will come with a full suite of trophies for players to collect.

In terms of enhancements, Vita owners will be able to use the touch screen and rear touch panel to have a more hands-on experience with Machinarium. If this doesn't appeal, they can use the Vita's dual analog sticks and buttons to play through the game.

The Vita version of Machinarium will also feature PSN leaderboard support, so you can see how your completion time stacks up against gamers from all over the world.

We don't have information on a European release of Machinarium yet, but we've contacted Amanita to see if it's in the works.

The Vita version of Machinarium will cost $6.99 when it launches on Tuesday, March 26.
