Nintendo has delayed the imposingly-named Dr. Kawashima's Devilish Brain Training: Can you Stay Focused? a mere four days before it was supposed to go on sale in Europe.

After reporting on a rumour,Nintendolife has since learned that the upcoming puzzle game (known asBrain Age: Concentration Training in North America) will officially miss its April 12 release date.

The reason for the delay was a bit unclear, but Nintendo stated that it is hoping to "optimise the best possible launch timing of this title within the European market".

For the Puzzle Swap enthusiasts out there, this also means that the 16-piece Devilish Brain Training puzzle panel will also be delayed until closer to the game's release window.

Stay focused

Dr. Kawashima's Devilish Brain Training: Can you Stay Focused? is the latest installment in the popular Brain Age series of educational puzzle games and tackles the modern problem of information addiction.

Devilish Brain Training originally received a release date of March 8 for Europe but then slipped back to April 12. While we don't have a solid idea of when we can expect to see the game hit shelves in Europe,GAME currently lists a release window of "September 2013" for the title.

We'll keep you updated with news of the release date when we have it.
