Does fighting zombies and corrupt military officials on the moon sound like fun to you?
If so, you're not alone. Over 1,600 backers poured out their support for Onipunks' revolutionary C-Wars, and this wave of support saw the Android version of the game funded in just six short days.
But that isn't the end of the journey for C-Wars. With 24 days left in its Kickstarter campaign, Onipunks teased the possibility of a release for iOS along with the 3DS and PS Vita - assuming that it can secure the development kits for the handhelds.
C-Wars. C-Wars run.
Outside of the prospect of fighting zombies on the moon, C-Wars stands out for its revolutionary battle system which combines elements of real-time strategy, tower defence, and action RPG titles.
Our reader Klouud said that it reminded him of Mega Man Battle Network, and the comparison is quite accurate as both games are set on a grid and experiment with the traditional RPG battle system.
In addition to the planned ports, Onipunks also announced a new "All-Star Mode" which will allow players to use special guest characters like Esmy from Cryamore in their squads.
This mode will be implemented in C-Wars if its Kickstarter funding should exceed $45,000.
