This week on the 3DS eShop: Fire Emblem Awakening, Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins, and Super Little Acorns 3D Turbo

There are some fairly big new releases on the Nintendo eShop this week, so make sure you pay attention every to single word.

There's also a sale on a range of titles from the glorious Level-5. Hence, you won't catch me complaining this week.

No, you won't.
Before I even contemplate complaining about something else, though, let's crack on. It's safer that way.

European eShop releases

It's a big week for us Europeans. Why? Well, the glorious Fire Emblem Awakening is upon us. I'd explain exactly why you should be excited, but, well, just read that review up there instead. Easier, innit.

The eShop price for this game is a rather hefty £39.99. Let's be clear: I'd be happy to pay that. At the same time, mind, you'll definitely be able to find it at retail for less.

Super Little Acorns 3D Turbo, meanwhile, is a game all about recovering acorns from pesky critters. It looks rather splendid, with stylish visuals and some great grapple-hooking action on display.

The original Dig Dug is now available on the Virtual Console. You know, that game about drilling from the '80s. It costs £3.59 from the eShop.

As mentioned earlier, there's a sale going on this week. Level-5's complete Guild01series has been slashed in price. So, Liberation Maiden is £4.49, Crimson Shroud is £4.49, and Aero Porter is £2.69.

Oh, have you played Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward yet? It was one of my favourite games of 2012, and it's now been reduced to £19.99 on the eShop. Grab it!

US eShop releases

Lego City Undercover

First up, American 3DS gamers can get their hands on a downloadable version ofLego City Undercover: The Chase Begins. This, of course, serves as the prequel to the Wii U Lego City Undercover game.

I've only played a short bit of the 3DS version, so I won't comment too much. We'll have a full review of the game up on the site next week if you want to wait for my full verdict.

Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns 3D is also now available as a downloadable title, and is well worth grabbing if you're a Harvest Moon fan.

Tetris: Axis is also well worth forking out for. It's Tetris all over again, albeit with some cool new modes that really give it that extra oomph.

Americans can also download Super Little Acorns 3D Turbo, which we mentioned up there in the European section.

As for the rest, there's a hidden object game called Jack the Ripper, plus a couple of games from Puzzler Magazine called Puzzler Brain Games and Puzzler World 2013. None of these looks or sounds particularly exciting.

If you own Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, by the way, you can now grab some free DLC containing a number of extra dungeons. Make sure you download them before April 30th, mind, for they'll go 'up' in price at that point.

The Guild01 series is on sale in the US eShop, too, so make a beeline for Liberation MaidenCrimson Shroud, and Aero Porter now, eh.

Back again next week!
